The Area - Southwest
Oregon is home to some of the finest natural resources
and majestic natural beauty to be found anywhere.
The lower Rogue River valley and Pacific coast attract
visitors from around the world. The ancient rainforest
drips with moss and ferns, and Bald eagles soar
overhead. 40 to 50 lb salmon fill our rivers and
streams. Abundant game and gourmet mushrooms fill
our forests. Our seacoast hosts a healthy sport
fish population and windsurfing, whale watching,
and beach combing are always popular here. Craggy
rocks and sea stacks make ours one of the most picturesque
and most photographed coasts anywhere in North America.
River Camping -
Circle "L" Campground offers a truly unique camping
experience on the Rogue River. Only 24 sites on
40 acres, (suitable for RVs or tents) share nearly
half a mile of easily accessed river frontage. The
Rogue is famous for white water rafting and for
salmon and steelhead fishing. Our location (Kimball
& Gillespie riffles) is considered one of the
best fishing spots on the entire river. Nearby,
hiking trails wind through tranquil old growth rainforests
and past cool mountain streams.|
River Frontage for sale
- 40 acres with an astonishing 3700 feet of Rogue
River frontage located just a mile downstream from
the spectacular Wild and Scenic section, and roughly
8 miles upstream from the port town of Gold Beach.
Already including a 24 space campground, the potential
of this land far surpasses its current use. Imagine
this resort development property as an exclusive
RV park and/or lodge! Alternatively, the property
could be developed into an incredible private residence.
World-class salmon and steelhead fishing and a deep
sturgeon hole are just out your door.
