CAMPING
ON THE ROGUE RIVER
Camping
at Circle "L" on the Rogue River is an experience
you'll long remember. Only 24 sites on 40 acres,
(suitable for RVs or tents) share nearly ¾ of
a mile of easily accessed river frontage. Each
site has a fire ring, picnic table, and outstanding
river view. Water and sanitary facilities are
available within the campground, but individual
hoop-ups are not available at each site. (2
full service RV sites are available for longer-term
stays.) If you want to try something really
unique, reserve a tipi and camp out, just as
the Native Americans did for thousands of years.
The
Rogue River is famous for incredible wild and
scenic white water rafting and for salmon and
steelhead fishing. Circle "L" Campground is
just one mile downstream from the designated
Wild and Scenic section, and our location (which
includes Kimball & Gillespie riffles) is
considered one of the best fly fishing and angling
spots on the entire Rogue River. The deepwater
sturgeon hole just off shore may be just your
cup of tea, but remember, you have to throw
em back if they're under 4 feet or over 7 feet
in length…!!!
Nearby,
hiking trails wind through tranquil old growth
rainforests and past cool mountain streams.
Just downstream is the port town of Gold Beach,
offering shopping, services, and restaurants,
and the Pacific coast, with beachcombing, whale
watching and fantastic sport fishing. Our warm
sunny days are perfect for kayaking, rafting
or for a cool swim in the Rogue, or you may
opt to just lay back and watch the river flow.
Our star filled nights around the campfire will
remind you what life should be.
Day
use entry fee is $20. Native American Tipi Experiences
are available for $35/night.
Please
contact us for more information and
reservations.

We look forward to your visit!
